Borislav Petrov is the executive director of the foundation. He graduated in engineering sciences in Mannheim,
Germany, and has worked in R&D teams of leading technology companies such as Siemens, BASF and Dentsply Sirona.
After 14 years spent in Germany and Switzerland, he returned to Bulgaria and co-founded a successful engineering company in the field of embedded systems and IoT.
For many years, Borislav actively participated in the creation and management of several non-governmental organizations.
